Growing customer demand requires continuous investment in technology and production capacity. To support our customers and prepare for future projects, SMV has invested in a new Mazak VTC-800SR machining centre.
The Mazak VTC-800SR significantly expands our machining capabilities, allowing us to manufacture larger and more complex components with higher precision, improved efficiency, and shorter lead times. With travels of 3,000 Ă— 820 Ă— 720 mm and a versatile rotary axis, the machine is ideally suited for machining large fabricated structures and high-accuracy components used in demanding industrial applications.
This investment is an important part of our long-term strategy to strengthen our in-house manufacturing capabilities, improve delivery performance, and maintain the high quality our customers expect from SMV.
The machine is currently being installed and commissioned and will be fully operational after the summer holiday. We are excited to see it become an integral part of our production and look forward to the opportunities it will create for both SMV and our customers.
